Join us for a fun, interactive workshop where we’ll explore abstract collage with a twist or two! For the first part of the workshop, we’ll create monoprints using a Gelli plate, exploring various layering techniques.
Using our gelli prints and other materials provided by the instructor, we’ll create colourful abstract collages, disrupted by images or parts of images, or using abstract techniques to create personal imagery that is truly individual to each participant.
With an emphasis on play, exploration, technique and composition, this workshop is suitable for all skill levels.
Substrates provided will be heavy mixed-media paper, but feel free to bring your own art journal to work in or other substrates you feel comfortable with.
All supplies provided, but feel free to bring your own:
