This open call invites artists to explore the sweet spot between realism and abstraction. This is the space where something recognizable starts to slip into possibility and intuition. The artist’s perception is prioritized as images are fragmented and distorted. A dynamic dialogue between what is seen and what is felt is revealed.
“Seeing” is never neutral, as art is shaped by our emotions and imagination. Edges blur, structures loosen, and realism becomes open to interpretation.
We’re looking for artwork that plays with this overlap. The themes of this exhibition include identity, place, memory and personal experience.
All media are welcome, including painting, drawing, sculpture, mixed media, installation and audio-visual submissions.
We look forward to seeing how you explore this space where images shift and layer with meaning, and the act of observing becomes a novel discovery.
We are accepting submissions between Friday, March 13th, and Friday, April 24th, at midnight.
