This open call invited artists to explore the sweet spot between realism and abstraction. This is the space where something recognizable starts to slip into possibility and intuition. The artist’s perception is prioritized as images are fragmented and distorted. A dynamic dialogue between what is seen and what is felt is revealed.

“Seeing” is never neutral, as art is shaped by our emotions and imagination. Edges blur, structures loosen, and realism becomes open to interpretation.

We looked for artwork that plays with this overlap. The themes of this exhibition include identity, place, memory and personal experience.
