Photographing Your Artwork
Your submitted images will be used for jury selection, the online gallery, exhibition publications, and the exhibition book. Please upload your original high-resolution JPEG (300 ppi or higher) whenever possible. It’s helpful if your artwork is evenly lit, the camera is steady, the image is centred, and the edges are square and fully visible.
Writing an Artist Statement
Write a concise artist statement that describes the ideas, materials, process, or concepts behind the work you are submitting. Consider what would help a gallery visitor better understand your artwork and know that the text will be used in a exhibition book. For the ArtPod submission, you need only a few sentences, 800 to 1000 characters including spaces, or an appropriate 200 words or fewer.

Preparing Artwork for Hanging
Artwork should arrive ready to hang. Attach D-rings securely to both sides of the frame, approximately 2–3 inches (5–8 cm) from the top, depending on the size of the work. Measure carefully so both D-rings are level, then attach a hanging wire securely between them. Ensure the frame, glazing, and matting (where applicable) are clean and in good condition.
Pricing Your Artwork
Price your work thoughtfully, taking into account your materials, time, experience, and the value of comparable work. Remember that ArtPod retains a 30% commission on all sales and collects applicable taxes on your behalf.
