The ArtPod offers six professionally juried art exhibitions to all artists a year, and upcoming exhibitions can be found under this menu item. The guest jurors are paid CARFAC fees, and we strive also to provide a related workshop for interested artists based on the exhibition’s theme. The exhibitions are created using ArtCall, an international online open-call platform used by art galleries, exhibitions and festivals. This allows ArtPod to ensure a robust blind jury process. The results of the jury process are communicated to those who are juried the week before the show’s opening. ArtPod then uses the information provided by each artist to promote their work for sale through social media, printed materials and our website. The material is also used to create exhibition books for circulation and archiving in the Library and Archives Canada and for sale to the artist. They are also used to promote the artist’s work through sales of the book online and in the gallery.
