Kim has been painting all her life. Her first piece accepted into an exhibition was “Self-portrait with Mom” at the PNE, at age six. After completing an art-heavy school course load in Calgary and Victoria, she was accepted into the Alberta College of Art in the 70’s. While Kim has been painting her entire life, it was under the guidance of Nicholas Wilton and the Creative Visionary Program in 2019 that she discovered Intuitive Abstract Art and fell in love. She has shown and sold work at the Sooke Fine Arts Show. She is a Federation of Canadian Artists member, regularly showing at their Granville Island Gallery and Victoria chapter shows. She also loves motorcycles and her grandchildren; those are her favourite places to be when not painting.
