Landlines showcases Memet Burnett’s recent series of prairie landscape watercolours, ceramic animal “salutes,” and haiku. This collection was inspired by her journey through Canada’s diverse bioregions during a residency at the Wallace Stegner House in Eastend, Saskatchewan. Through the evocative mediums of water, clay, and ink, Burnett explores the intersection of poetry, topography, and the animal sentinels that define these vast landscapes.
