Experience capturing fleeting Lumen Prints in a hands-on workshop with photographer Phyllis Schwartz. Over four hours, for all levels, learn to create camera-less photograms using digital and analogue techniques. Participants will select materials, compose images, and document stages using cell phones, culminating in print processing and sharing insights.
Lumen Prints are unique contact prints showing shadows and shapes from natural materials on photosensitive surfaces, producing unexpected organic marks. Participants are encouraged to bring their own naturally sourced items such as leaves, feathers, lace, flowers, or other flat materials that can be pressed under plexiglass to produce markings and shapes on their prints. All other materials and equipment needed for the workshop will be provided.
The $90 covers the cost of equipment and materials.
