Metchosin ArtPod is pleased to present a free, all-ages event for World Ocean Week.
Join us on Sunday, June 7 from 1-3:00 pm at Weirs Beach, Sandgate Road in Metchosin for this four-part event comprised of:
- Intro body and senses tune-in with Anthea Browne
- 30 minute beach amble / discovery walk with marine biologist Laura Verhegge
- 30 minute collaborative land art creation session with ArtPod artists
- 30 minute ocean haiku writing session with local poet Memet Burnett
Please carpool as parking is limited. There are no public washrooms. Pre-prepare at MACCA or My-Chosen Cafe.
