A talisman is anything that has the power to profoundly influence our feelings or actions. It could be an object, an image, or even an idea, imbued with meaning by the one who carries it. From tattoos to heirlooms, from ritualistic forms to deeply personal artifacts, we invite you to explore the enigmatic world of symbols, mysteries, and hidden powers through art, and we also ask you to reflect: What do we consider sacred? How do we carry protection and power through our lives? And in what ways do objects transcend their physical form to become something more?
Go as wide with the definition of Talisman as you wish. We encourage submissions that play with the ordinary expectations of the theme and bring a soul to it.
