The Gallery Setup
Metchosin ArtPod Gallery invited artists of all disciplines to submit work for Thread: Weaving Narratives, an exhibition exploring fibre and thread as both material and metaphor.
This fibre-forward exhibition welcomed submissions in any medium — painting, sculpture, photography, ceramics, textiles, digital work, mixed media, installations, and more — that responded to the idea of threads as connectors, storytellers, and agents of disruption, transformation, and renewal. Work that uses fibre or thread directly, as well as work that interprets their qualities or symbolism through other materials and approaches are included in the exhibition.
