This month ArtPod will be trying something new with a Talk Art and Reignite event.
The idea is to inspire and keep our creative juices flowing. One evening a month people are invited to gather to watch a short art-related movie, to discuss its themes and also bring work-in-progress for feedback from participants. Offering constructive feedback is useful for an artist but also for us as viewers since it encourages us to dig deeper than “I like that, I don’t like that” asking, instead, questions such as what is it that works for me, what is puzzling, what is my first response?
The first session will be on Friday, September 18, from 7 to 9pm. There will be a $5.00 drop-in fee.
