New work by Diana Smith explores the concept and practice of lingering. This ceramic and encaustic work was made while on an art residency at the Tidal Art Centre in Lund, B.C. this summer. The stillness and quietness she experienced during that time is embodied in the work. What are lessons to be learned while lingering?
