Open Call to Artist from March 13th to April 24th (results April 27th)
The Abstraction exhibition invites submissions that explore the compelling interplay between realism and abstraction, examining the fluid boundaries where literal representation gives way to expressive nuance. The submissions should be from across all artistic mediums—painting, sculpture, installation, photography, digital art, and mixed media and explore the essence of abstraction by distorting, simplifying, or reimagining reality. Submission could explore a dialogue between tangible forms and intangible ideas, how artists navigate the delicate space between the concrete and the abstract. It is hoped the submission will highlight the transformative power of abstraction to evoke emotion, provoke thought, and redefine perception within the elemental context of earth.
