Food is never just food. It is material, metaphor, ritual, and resource. It feeds not only bodies, but identities, cultures, economies, and memories. We invite artists to submit works in various media that explore the layered theme of Food.
From harvest to hunger, feast to waste, we are seeking work that examines the complex role food plays in shaping our relationships with ourselves, society, and the systems that sustain or exploit us. Whether a symbol of celebration or scarcity, food is deeply personal, political, ecological, and sensual.
This is a call to artists to trace the visible and invisible systems that feed us, and to ask:
What does it mean to be nourished in a time of both abundance and imbalance?
